How Trail Badges work

Trail Badges reward the things that make this community better: documenting your build, posting regularly, showing up to club runs and welcoming other owners. You can see every badge, what it means and how to earn it on the Badges page.
Progress badges level up
Hex-nut badges like Trail Cam, Duck Magnet and The Wave have three tiers. They start at Stock, move to Modded and finish at Built. Your profile shows the highest tier you've reached, and the Badges page shows how close you are to the next one.
One-time patches
Round patches like First Gear, Build Sheet, Crew Member and Best Friend are earned once. Best Friend appears when you add your trail dog with a name and a photo.
Honor badges
Salute recognizes members who served in the U.S. armed forces, and First In recognizes firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement, dispatchers and search & rescue. Add your service in Settings under Service & Honor. They work on the honor system, and you decide whether they show.
What badges don't do
Badges never change what shows in your feed, and there's no leaderboard. The feed stays in time order, so a new owner's first post gets the same shot as anyone else's.
